Annyeong, chingu! Sorry for being inactive these past few days. I’ve been addicted with watching Korean movies and dramas, plus my studies are giving me a pile of workloads so I have to manage them all before finally giving time to my blog. If you’re waiting for my reviews for my second Althea haul, I haven’t made them yet since I’ve only used a few of them as of today. But don’t worry, because I’ll share them with you once I see how everything worked for me.

What do I write about?

I write about a lot of things.

Mostly random words, especially when I’m in school. There are times when no matter how hard I try to focus on a lecture, I just can’t. So I always open the back of my notebook and scribble some words like my full name, my school and course. Sometimes I also practice my signature both as a writer and as an ordinary citizen.
Second, I write about my stories. Yes, I have written a few novels and short stories in the past. There are a lot of plot that’s been going on my mind for a few months already but I can’t find the motivation to write them. And no, I don’t blame it on what they call writer’s block. I believe I’m just lazy. Ha!
Third, I write about my goals. This one has just started this year, on the day of my nineteenth birthday. I feel bad about being the same person as I was last year so I came up with this 19 goals thingy, kinda like a bucket list, which should be done before I turn 20. It isn’t that big though. I started with small things like smiling more often, buying two more books, saving a specific amount of money. In short, achievable within a short period of time. Please don’t ask me about my progress. I’ll just write about it next year!
Fourth, I write about silly things. To give you an example, I write bad things about my sister. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not what you think! Sometimes, when we’re bored, we write about each other in a piece of paper. Such kiddie things like you’re so ugly. Then we read it and laughs before we wrote again. It’s kinda like our own bonding moment. We say things that we don’t really mean. Not all the time, of course.
And lastly, I write for my clients. You see, I have this freelance job wherein I write a number of words for a few bucks. I know it isn’t much but I like the idea of earning through writing, and besides I’m trying to save for my Korea trip after graduation. Why Korea? I’ll tell you about it next time.
I think this is enough for my first ever blog post. It felt good, honestly. Maybe I should do this more often. Don’t you think?
