Review: Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

I came across Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop on Althea while I was searching for a kbeauty product that can get rid of my pimple marks. However, I didn’t purchase it as soon as possible and did a research on it first.

I’ve read blog posts and website reviews about it, and took notes regarding the ingredients. After my skincare horror back then, I vowed never to buy anything impulsively without taking careful consideration about what it will do to my skin.

Just like any other products, there were not-so-good reviews about this vitamin drop but I’ve figured that those reviews were from people having a different skin type with mine. ICYMI, my skin type is oily and acne-prone — which is also a reason why I am especially cautious in buying skincare products. My acne problems were so much worse back in my high school days, and the only reason why it calmed down was Dove Nourishing soap.

Still, I was not contented with it because my acne does leave marks and it’s making my face look like it is filled with pimples even when it’s not. So after three weeks of investigation, I’ve finally decided to buy this babe!

How to use: After cleansing, apply about half a drop to the entire face and gently massage it into the skin. For those with sensitive skin, use after toner and apply 3-4 drops. For those with extra sensitive skin, mix a few drops into serum or lotion and apply to face.

According to Dear Klairs, you shouldn’t use AHA or BHA along with this, and that you should keep this in a place away from sunlight because it will oxidize faster.

My Skin type: Oily, Acne Prone

On my first day of using this Vitamin Drop, I made a patch test first on my hand (which I wasn’t able to take a picture of) and it there wasn’t any irritation on it so I went and included it in my routine. To start, I’ve only used 3-4 drops each night. I even tried to use this on daytime, but my skin didn’t like it even when I was using sunscreen. While I was observing it, my skin feels okay, so I decided to use up to 5 drops.

Now, let’s move on to the part that you’ve all been waiting for!

This was how my face looked like on the first week of March when I started using it. See, there’s a lot of acne marks and there’s redness too. Excuse my messy hair, the photos were taken right after I woke up.

Look at how shiny it was!

Yep, my skin condition was really bad.

Here’s how my routine went on:

1. The Face Shop’s Herb Day 365 Cleansing Foam (Lemon Variant)

2. Dove Nourishing Soap

3. Eskinol Facial Cleanser (It is too strong, yep, I know.)

4. Dear Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop

5. iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer

I really made sure not to skip my routine so I can see the results faster. So, fast forward to a month later, here’s how my face looked like!

Yay! Majority of my acne marks were gone, plus, my skin felt smooth and brighter! Whenever I have a new pimple, I just put a drop of this life-saver directly and it would be flattened out the next morning!

As a matter of fact, I became busy with my studies when the month of April came (Yes, that’s also why I hadn’t updated my blog for quite a while). I had to study very, very hard to the point where I’ve been sleeping really late or not even sleeping at all. But still, I made sure to stay religious to my skincare every single night that I even brought it with me during the several times that I had to sleep over at a friend’s apartment.

You know what the best part is? None of my friends ever thought that I wasn’t getting a full 8-hour sleep because of how my skin looked like. A lot of friends told me how “fresh” I was! My face stayed bright and kept my pimples at bay. And friends believe me, my P1,200.00 was so worth it!

But don’t get me wrong though. This Vitamin Drop works better if you do have enough sleep!

To conclude, I just found my new holy grail. Honestly, I can’t live without it anymore! Please, please, if you have lots of pimple marks, do your skin a favor and buy this ASAP! Yes, it is a bit expensive, but I don’t really mind. Skincare is an investment, you know?

Thank you, Dear Klairs, for giving us a product that actually works and true to its promises! I love you!!!!

For those who are asking, yes, this actually did oxidized. I continued using it even when it turned yellow because Dear Klairs said that it’s still safe to use. Plus, I don’t want it to go to waste! Heehee.

I heard this works better with their Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask, but I can’t afford that right now so maybe I’ll try it in the future. This is available on Althea Korea for P1,200.

If you haven’t purchased yet from their website, here’s a special link just for you! Just create an account through this link and you’ll automatically get discount for your first ever purchase.

What do you want my next post to be? How about a review of my sunscreen?
