Bioré Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets Review

Happy 2018, 내 친구~

I know I have been inactive for the last months of 2017, and I am terribly sorry for that. I didn’t know that being an office girl is no joke!

I think I’ve mentioned in a post before about my On-the-Job Training at the Bureau. Anyway, it was definitely challenging! I had piles of workload everyday, I needed to submit reports and documents to my supervisor, while computing these taxes. It was tough, but it was fun.

Anyway, I’ll give you a separate post about that! So, let’s head on to my first-ever blog post for 2018!

Today’s review is about Bioré Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets!

Before I give you my insight about this product, there’s three things I’d like to point out:

1. I’ve never used cleansing wipes before. You know very well that I am a late bloomer who didn’t care about what I looked like in my teenage years. Everyday I would just lay down in bed after coming home from school, without even cleaning my face and letting it breathe after a whole day of being exposed to smoke, dust and whatnot. I am suspecting that it is the main factor as to why I get pimples a lot: dirt.

Yeah, I’m lazy like that. But I’m a changed person! Trust me!

2. My skin type is Combination Skin. To prove to you that I’ve changed for the better, I did some research about my stubborn skin and it turns out that I have a Combination type of skin. My face produces a lot of oil, and it is acne-prone too.

3. I’ve never used a Bioré product before. Sure, I did came across the brand name from a blog before but I never had the courage to try it out. I wasn’t familiar with the brand at all.

My life revolves around Batangas City, and the mode of transportation we often use is the jeepneys. Imagine all the dirt and smoke that the air carried and slapped my face with! I am the type of person who likes to look out the windows and feel the cool breeze, so… yeah. The air had smothered a lot of dirt in my face.

Since I am a changed person, I’ve learned to cover my nose and mouth area with my hankie. Even if it is not really enough, it helped lessen my whiteheads and blackheads. Yay!

Now, there’s this one time that I was walking around Watsons and I saw this little babe with the pink packaging. I don’t know what got into my mind, but I bought it without thinking twice.

It was priced at P95, but I don’t really know how many sheets were inside.

For two and a half weeks, I reminded myself to cleanse my face with this right after I went home. Surprisingly, the sheets would always be dirty right after, and there was also some brown colors in it — which I suppose was the primer and powder I used for the whole day.

Plus, I also tried to use it to remove my lipstick, instead of doing it with toothpaste. It was effective, and it wasn’t painful at all.

After testing this for quite some time, I can say that my face improved. I didn’t get a lot of pimples and whiteheads, which is a miracle!

Verdict
:

Packaging
: It was packed nicely and easily to tear. 5/5

Cleaning Effect
: YAS! 5/5

Is it worth the price
? Maybe. It is a little expensive, but if it is effective then it is worth the moolah. 4/5

Will I repurchase
? Yes, but not now. Since cleansing wipes seemed to help my skin, I’d like to try the one from Calmia first. It only costs P60, with 25 sheets (I think?).

Who among you guys uses cleansing wipes? Can you give me some recommendations?

  1. I can totally relate with your younger self! You can also call me a “late-bloomer” when it comes to skin care or anything related to beauty.
I’ve used Bioré Micellar Water and I must say that it’s the best micellar water I’ve tried!
As for makeup wipes, I’ve only used the Hello Kitty one from Purederm, and I am 100% happy with it.

  2. 😊 It’s also a makeup remover, and yes it acts as a cleanser. It’s perfect for lazy people like me haha! I can just wipe my makeup off with it and go straight to bed. But sometimes, I still wash my face, when I have little energy left.
I only got mine for free during a spa party with a YouTuber, so I don’t know how much it is. (Sorry! 😅) Perhaps it’s more or less a hundred pesos??
