Travelling is one of the grandest dreams of everyone. Some people plan to visit New York, Italy, Japan, and etcetera. There are a lot of countries to choose from and it’s so hard to decide which one to go first! So as one of my recommendation, I listed a few reasons why you should visit Korea.
Some of you already know that I do dream of Seoul-searching in Korea as well. (I know, I’m biased. Lol!) But trust me; there are a lot of reasons why you should go for it as well.
Disclaimer: I do not own any of these photos.
Korean culture really amazes me! I admire the fact that they were able to keep their tradition alive over the years. A good example for this is their Korean dramas! If you’re an avid fan, you probably know that there are a lot of dramas that showcases and promotes Korean culture by wearing hanbok, showing their wonderful palaces, and writing stories on a different time setting. And that’s really impressive! Not a lot of countries are able to do that.

As we all know, Korea is known for their delectable and spicy kimchi and the thirst-quenching soju. Kimchi is best when it is made by a legitimate Korean rather than just a local imitation, right? But there are a lot of recipes that we should try when we visit the country, and street food is definitely on my list!
Korea is well-known for their wonderful tourist spots. One of the most recommended places are Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon Hanok Village, and Lotte World. But the list doesn’t end in here! There is way more spots to be visited, especially when you’re a big fan of Korea, like me!
Since Korea is also known for their fashion, your visit will not be complete if you won’t go shopping! Two of the famous shopping districts are Myeongdong and Dongdaemun, where you’ll find the most affordable clothes and cheap cosmetics! In Korea, items from Etude House and Missha are sold for 10% less or more. Also, some of these stores give additional discounts for passport holders. Cool, right?
Aaaaand, there you have it! This is just a few of my reasons why you should visit Korea, and I’m pretty sure you’ll find more. So, I guess it’s time to go save for our ultimate Korea trip? Who knows? You might even consider living in the country!
